A favourite memory I have of SECC was in my first month of employment here. It was December 2020 and the Settlement Department had identified 44 families that didn’t have the means to provide Christmas presents to their children. So, the community rallied together to and businesses, individuals, and churches sponsored families that needed some additional support. The children got presents, and the parents received grocery gift cards. It was incredibly special to see all these different people coming together for one goal!
